INITIATIVE

PIPA was born from the dream of four young people from Rio de Janeiro. Our team is made up of black people from plural peripheries. We work to transform Brazil by bringing the favelas and peripheries together with philanthropy, valuing all the power and plurality of the territories.

OUR PUBLICATIONS

The Peripheries Guide for Donors aims to transform the sector and offer solutions for donors who want to increase their impact, effectiveness and diversity, with a focus on the needs of the peripheries and the recipients of the resources.

PERIPHERY GUIDE

The PIPA Initiative, in partnership with the Nu Institute, carried out the research “Peripheries and Philanthropy - The barriers to accessing resources in Brazil” in 2022, which had a great impact and scope, providing a panorama of another reality in the country.
